Linda was born Monday, November 14, 1949 in Marlow, to Hatton Alexander and Ruth Lucille (Murray) Travis. She was a graduate of Marlow High School. Linda lived in the Stephens County Area all of her life and spent her time being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She enjoyed going to garage sales, going out to eat, and going on trips and spending time with her daughter. Linda brought joy to many people's lives and she will be missed deeply by those who knew her.

Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie Johnson of Duncan, 2 sisters, Dee Lister of Duncan, and Sonja Morrison and husband Lendel of Pauls Valley, brother, Donald Ray Travis, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Herbert Gene Travis, Roy Travis, and Willie Odell Travis, and 2 sisters, Mable Spivey, and Wilma Simmons.
