KEIPER – Betty Jane (Rummel) Benyack, Shepherdstown, W.Va., went to be with her Savior March 4, 2013, at Canterbury Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 26, 1922, daughter of the late Rev. Arthur and Geraldine Rummel. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Benyacko and Ira Keiper; her brother, Paul Rummel; and her infant son, Billy Benyack. She is survived by her five children, Eileen Hollibaugh, Bunker Hill, W.Va.; Carol Sypolt, Prince Frederick, Md.; Sharon Feather, Seattle, Wash.; Don (Butch) Benyack, Mineral Point; and Kathy Benyack, Garland, Texas, along with 18 grandchildren. She also is survived by her sister, Violet Mae Primel, Vinco, and her brother, Donald Rummel, Palmyra, Pa. She was a devoted and beloved mother and grandmother. Her Lord and her family were the great loves of her life. She served her Lord faithfully in many ministries throughout her life, including children's ministries, nursing homes, Bible studies and music. She touched many lives with her love for the Lord. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Pike Grace Brethren Church, 541 Pike Road, Johnstown. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in her name will be established at Pike Grace Brethren Church. The funds will be distributed among the full-time ministries of her daughter and grandchildren.
