Ronald Wayne Bishop, 67, of Colonial Heights, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023. Born April 11, 1956, he was the son of the late William and Jean Rowland Bishop, and was also preceded in death by his mother and father in-law, Randolph and Charlotte Arthur. Mr. Bishop was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church in Dinwiddie, Virginia. Mr. Bishop worked as a technician for Honeywell for 32 years before retiring. He felt at home in the outdoors and loved to fish. Every year in the spring, he could be found canoeing down the rapids of the Appomattox River. He was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins and would scarcely miss a game. He also enjoyed all kinds of music, with his favorite band being Lynyrd Skynyrd. He is survived by his wife.
