Oliver James Young, 47, of Marlinton, died on Monday, June 12, 2006, in the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.

Born at Marlinton on September 28, 1958, he was the son of the late Garland Cephis and Ruth Frances Burgess Young.

Oliver was the owner and operator of Young's Body Shop for 20 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the NRA and attended the Marlinton Nazarene Church. He loved hunting, fishing, NASCAR, and antique cars.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Sue Beverage Young; three daughters, Priscilla Young, at home, Beth Young, of Bluefield, and Pam VanReenan, of Marlinton; two brothers, Omar Young, of Gap Mills, and Loy Burgess, of Marlinton; six sisters, Osa Wilfong, of Hillsboro, Bonnie Lemon, of Clifton Forge, Virginia, Donna McGinnis, of Buckeye, Dortha Kecklinger, of Milleysville, Tennessee, Betty Conner, of Weston, and Cindy Beverage, of Buckeye; and three grandchildren.

The Rev. William Kumpf and Sam Felton will conduct the funeral service on Thursday, June 15, at 1 p.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Cochran Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
