Obituary:
Parley Earl Petersen, 93, of Sky Valley, CA and Newport Beach, CA passed away Ser tember 28, 2007 at his home in Newport Beach due to the complications of pneumonia. He was born April 24, 1914 and was the third of nine children born to Marinus and Mary Elizabeth Petersen in Newton, UT.

Viva Jean, his wife of 65 years, passed away in January 2002.

Parley retired from his own electrical construction business,
"PEP Electric" 35 years ago.

Parley Earl Petersen is survived by his daughter, Ann Schilling; granddaughter Lisa Schilling; great granddaughters, Nichole, Loressa, Kayla; great grandson Michael, and great great grandson, Devin.

Earl, as he was know by family and friends, was also survived by his brothers, VerNon Petersen of Springfield, UT, Morgan Petersen of Palm Springs, CA; and sisters, Roselene Heywood of Hesperia, CA, Janice Shultz of Orange, CA, Lois LeBaron of Oak Ridge, UT; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, his brothers, Marinus Fern Petersen, James Foy Petersen, and Curtis Haskell Petersen.

Services where held on October 3, 2007 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Newport Beach CA.
