Linda Kaye Farmer, age 76 passed away at her residence Thursday, November 16, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was welcomed home by her parents Claude B. Baldwin and Parry Baldwin; her siblings Roy, Christine, Louise, Lorraine, Ray, Maye, Edna, Ozelle, C.J., Charles, Glynn, Harold; and her son-in-law DeWayne Wall.
She was born March 21, 1947, to Claude B. Baldwin and Zadie Parry Hardesty at her home on Eljie Road in Glenwyle Community, Tennessee. She graduated from Charlotte High School in 1965 and started her first job at CEMC in Clarksville. There she met her future husband, James Farmer, on April 1, 1969. They were married on December 23, 1970.
After leaving her job to become a homemaker, she welcomed her three daughters and began her life as a caregiver. She continued this to the birth of her three granddaughters. She was a member of Soules Chapel United Methodist Church until its closing; thereafter, she attended Marion United Methodist Church. Linda was a committed community servant, marvelous cook, and loving friend. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She leaves behind her husband James Farmer; her daughters Jennifer Dubach (Thomas), Stefanie Wall, Sharon Adcock; her granddaughters Sammantha Maule (Derik), Tara Dubach, Amber Dubach; her great grandchildren DeWayne, Bella, and Eliza.
We will miss her dearly, until we meet again.
Visitation will be held 4:00 – 7:00 pm Saturday, November 25 and 11:00 – 2:00 pm Sunday, November 26 at Spann Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 26 in the Spann Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ben Falls officiating. Interment to follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
