Sharon was born on July 3, 1941, in Bloomington to Carroll and LuVerne Frankeberger.
She married her high school sweetheart, Jim Watson, on April 22, 1961. They proceeded her in death. Sharon was also proceeded in death by, daughter-in-law, Kate Watson; father-in-law, Howard Watson mother-in-law, Helen Watson and two sisters-in-law, Joanne Carr and Sue (Mike) Ehrmantraut.
Also surviving are her five children, three daughters and their husbands and sons and their wives; nine grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; two brothers and their wives;
brother-in-law; a special and many nieces and nephews.
Sharon graduated from Bloomington High School class of 1959. She retired from the city of Bloomington. Sharon was active in Bloomington Emblem Club #432, where she held local, supreme and state positions. Her greatest pleasure was time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling with Jim to Fort Myers Beach and with the Emblem Club.
Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Carmody Flynn Funeral Home, with Rev Jim Kyle officiating. Entombment will be at Park Hill Mausoleum, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Emblem Club #432 Scholarship fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
