CHARLES FLOYD ANDERSON. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Dec. 10 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Charles Floyd Anderson, 72, Overbrook. He died Dec. 8, 1994, at a Topeka Hospital.

Mr. Anderson taught at Twin Mounds School, Richland Grade School, Scranton Public Schools and had been a principal and teacher for the Seaman School District for 37 years. He also farmed and was a rancher. He also had been a real estate agent for the High Plains Realty in Topeka and for his own real estate business.

He was born May 25, 1922, in Stull, the son of George Andrew and Jessie Prudence Moore Anderson. He was graduated from Lecompton High School in 1941 and earned a bachelor's degree at the University of Kansas.
He was married to Percie Ruth Durkee on June 28, 1944, in Perry. She survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Morse Gay, Midwest City, Okla.; two sisters, Buena Vista Lohman, Lawrence, and Mary E. Turley, Douglas, Wyo.; two brothers, Francis N. Anderson and Thomas E. Anderson, both of Overbrook; one grandson; and three great-grandchildren.

Burial was a Overbrook Cemetery.
