Mary Jean (Branham) Ford, 76, of Shattuck, Oklahoma, peacefully passed away on November 14, 2023.
Jean, as friends called her, was born on March 2, 1947 to Willis Eugene Branham and Mary Virginia (McClure) Branham in Fairview, Oklahoma. On June 1, 1963, she married Willie Otis Ford in Enid, Oklahoma.
Over the course of their fifty-two years together, Jean and Willie lived in many different places, including Dallas, Texas, Farmington, New Mexico, Dayton, Ohio, Tulsa, Enid, and finally Shattuck. Jean will be remembered for her love of cooking. A talent she used working first at the Seiling Hospital and later at the Shattuck Nursing center. Generations will cherish the recipes she left.
Jean was preceded in death by husband, Willie Otis Ford, a son, Michael Eugene Ford, her mother and father, Willis and Mary Branham, a brother, Willis Newman Branham, and a sister, Ruth Annette Miller.
She is survived by three daughters, Rebecca Owen, Deborah Wilson, and Elisabeth Swanstrom, six grandchildren, Nicholas Owen, Chelsea Clark, Marissa Owen, Jacey Wilson, Liliana Gilleland, and Connor Robinson and six great-grandchildren, Autumn Cosgrave, Kodi Cosgrave, Caleb Owen, Lexi Owen, Owen Clark, and Brooks Clark.
