Big Stevie was a devoted Alabama fan and loved to fish. He was a kindhearted and loving man.

Mr. Motes was preceded in death by his parents, Stevie Leon Motes, Sr. and Nadine McLemore Motes; brother, Brett Motes; uncle, Roger Motes, and grandson, Zaxton Motes.

The visitation will be 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel. The burial will be at Blue Springs Cemetery.
