Mrs. Beatrice Smith Jackson, 82, of 3617 Southeast School Road died May 23, 1992 Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

'Beadie' was the oldest child of Daniel Jackson Smith and Nannie Belle Hopkins Smith. She married Bunn Jackson July 27, 1929 in Martinsville, Virginia. They were the parents of twelve children.

Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Lera Highfall of Thomasville, Mrs. Dara Perkins of Greensboro, Mrs. Corena Gray of Mebane, Mrs. Joann Clayton of Prospect Hill, Mrs. Louise Moore of Shelby, Mrs. Gloria Buskirk of Preston, Miss.; sons, Edward A. Jackson of Fayetteville, L. Eugene Jackson of Snow Camp, Bobby D. Jackson, Charles B. Jackson, Michael G. Jackson, all of Greensboro; sisters, Mrs. Carrie Hill, Mrs. Hallie Smith, both of Mayodan, Mrs. Irene Edwards, Mrs. Mildred Hill, Mrs. Mable Haizlip, all of Stoneville; brothers, Coy J. Smith, Perry Smith, Euel Smith, all of Mayodan; 49 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren.
