Jeremy Maurice Starn Burnham, 46, of Conneautville, passed away unexpectedly while working on his farm during the afternoon of November 11, 2023.

Jeremy was born in Meadville on August 4, 1977 to John and Ruth Burnham. He began farming with his parents, grandfather, and brothers as a young boy in Conneautville and continued the tradition throughout his life. His love of nature and learning led Jeremy to earn his Eagle Scout Award and he was continually involved in 4-H and FFA. Jeremy was the PA FFA Star Farmer in Production Agriculture in 1995 and earned his Keystone Degree. He was a recurring Simmental and Milking Shorthorn Champion at the Crawford County Fair. Never one to rest, Jeremy was involved in football, concert band (trumpet), and weight lifting and was the county weight lifting lightweight champion in 1994.

A 1995 graduate of Conneaut Valley High School, Jeremy continued a lifetime of learning first at Butler County Community College, earning an Associate's Degree in Computer Aided Drafting, then at Berea College in Berea, Kentucky where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. As the Maintenance Manager at MacLean-Fogg (formerly Saegertown Manufacturing) in Saegertown he enjoyed a position that allowed him to continue learning- and to see the world, including several trips to Japan.
Surrounded by friends and family, Jeremy married the love of his life, Jill Gevin Burnham on November 27th, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Linesville. Together they began their own farm and welcomed two daughters Lauren and Alaina who were a constant source of joy. The family enjoyed showing sheep, tending their farm, and involvement in the Purple Circle 4-H Livestock Club. Jeremy was a man of faith and believed in displaying the real spirit of Christ to people around him in kind and subtle ways. He was a beloved son, brother, husband and father.

Jeremy is survived by his wife, daughters, and parents. He is also survived by his three brothers and their children - Robert (Alyson) Burnham [Cole, Easton, Ty, and Tanner] of Conneautville; Scott (Rachel) Burnham [Elsie] of Medina, Ohio; and Phillip Burnham and his girlfriend Jessica Charles of Guys Mills. He is additionally survived by his mother-in-law Margaret Gevin of Cochranton and his sisters-in-law and their families – Paula (Bob) Lucas [Austin and Tyler] of Cochranton and Amy (Craig) Chapman [Wyatt and Waylon] of Waterford. Family was always a priority and Jeremy remained close to many aunts, uncles and cousins who each shared their own profound connection.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Orlo and Mary Burnham and Harold and Twila Gandelot and his father-in-law Milo Gevin.

Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 1:00–3:00PM and 6:00–8:00PM at MCCAULEY FUNERAL HOME 1405 Main St. Conneautville, PA 16406 and on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service at 1:00PM at the First Baptist Church of Linesville, 6114 US-6, Linesville, PA 16424.
