Graduated from St. Mary's Institute in Amsterdam and took Supervisor Courses at Clarkson University.

Retired as Supervisor of Transmission and Distribution from Niagara Mohawk Power and Light Company Eastern District in 1990 after 40 years.

Served in the United States Navy veteran during the Korean Conflict, aboard the U.S.S. Bronson DD - 868 from 1951 to 1955 with the rank of Machinist Mate Second Class.

Parishioner and of Sacred Heart Church in Tribes Hill, NY.

He was also active in the community as a former chairman of the Town of Mohawk Zoning Board of Appeals for 40 plus years, a life member of the U.S.S. Bronson DD - 868, Board of Directors of Pine Grove Cemetery in Tribes Hill, Tribes Hill Volunteer Fire Department, John J. Wyszomirski American Legion Post 701 in Amsterdam and a former member of V.F. W. Post 942, Fonda, NY.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as traveling to fifty states with his wife

Survived by his wife of Marilyn R. Jager Boggie, who he married May 2, 1953, two nieces and several cousins.
