Last respects were paid at 3:30 Wednesday afternoon to Robert Marvin Crawford, highly esteemed citizen of Magnolia
Mr. Crawford passed away at the age of 69 at his residence in Magnolia at 8:15 Tuesday night, after an illness of long duration. He was born September 27, 1880 at Georgetown, Mississippi, and had lived for about 15 years in Pike County.
Funeral services were said from the Assembly of God Church in McComb, with the pastor, Rev. N. R. Kellum, officiating. Nephews of the deceased served as pallbearers.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Susie Crawford, Magnolia; three sons, Emmett, Albert, and Otis Crawford, all of Winnsboro, Louisiana; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Henry Kennedy, Magnolia; Mrs. Curtis Castor, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Birdie Lee Caston, Jackson, Louisiana; a brother, M.D.L. Crawford, McComb; two sisters, Mrs. S.C. Shaw and Mrs. Hattie Brewer, both of McComb; 21 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Burial was in the Hollywood Cemetery with Magnolia Funeral Home in charge of services.
