Married to Lydia Fisher
Died of Tuberculosis

Son of Joseph Missner and June Seaver

A Smelter Furnace Operator

He was born in Vernon Co., Missouri, to Joseph and Nancy Seaver Misener or Misner - the name is spelled both ways, Joseph used Misener and Willis used Misner. Willis's first name was Oscar, but he never used it and was always known by Willis.

They did live for awhile in Fort Smith, but at the time of Willis's demise the family lived in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.

He was on the way to California when he got so sick he had to be taken off the train in Albuquerque. His daughter Pauline got a room in a boarding house there, but I don't think they were there very long before the end came.

Willis and Lydia had four children surviving, Naomi (married Jack Varnell), Finis, Pauline, and William, and a fifth child that died very young, perhaps at birth.
