White Creek-Ronna A. Meerwarth, 75, of White Creek, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at her residence.
Born in Passaic, NJ October 30, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Florence (Blackledge) Marrazzo.
Ronna graduated from Salem Washington Academy and received her Associate Degree from Adirondack Community College. She attended SUNY Potsdam and received her Bachelor's Degree from Southern Vermont College.
Ronna served as the Town of White Creek Assessor for 30 years. She worked at Price Chopper in Bennington and was a teacher's aide in Bennington. Ronna was a receptionist at the Hoosick Falls Family Health Center for several years and also managed the family farm in White Creek.
She was a member of the Jermain United Methodist Church in White Creek and a member of the Vermont Flying Farmers. Ronna enjoyed completing jigsaw puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John J. Meerwarth, Sr. in 2016 and a stepdaughter, Barbara Jean Austin.
Ronna is survived by two children, two step-children.
She is also survived by a brother, eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew.
Her final resting place will be at the Center White Creek Cemetery.
