Lila Spangler, 99, of Richland Center, died October 28,2023 at Schmitt Woodland Hills. She was born August 1, 1924. She was one of eight children to Edward and Lila (sic) Millin of Patch Grove, WI. Lila graduated from Patch Grove High School and worked in Chicago during World War II..

Lila was united in marriage to Francis (Fuzz) Spangler in 1947. They met shortly after the war while Fuzz was working on his brother-in-law's farm outside of Patch Grove. They were married 73 years until Fuzz passed away in 2020.

Lila loved to dance and hosted many gathering within her home in front of the player piano. She enjoyed belonging to women's groups, served on many auxiliaries, and loved going to church.

Lila is survived by her two sons: Neal (Pam) Spangler of Oceanside, CA. and Scott (Susan) Spangler of Pewaukee, WI; three granddaughters, all married and seven great grandchildren, along with many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Bloom Township. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at the Pratt Memorial Chapel from 10:30 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
