Mrs. Richeson was born October 18, 1913, in Clay County, the daughter of William and Anna Weiggel Roberts. She married Horatio Richeson in 1931 and he died in 1977.
She retired after 22 years from Effingham High School as a cook and was a cook with Martin's IGA, and was a life and 50 year member of Watson Order of the Eastern Star Lodge 513.
Surviving are her daughters, Peggy Devall and Debby Bloemer; four grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and six great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, two brothers and six sisters.
Funeral services were held at Johnson Funeral Home with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery, rural Elliottstown.
