Funeral services for James Cobb, 90, of Garden City will be 2:00, Friday November 10th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Garden City Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service on Friday from 12:00 until 2:00 at Hanceville Funeral Home.
Mr. Cobb was born January 31, 1933, in Cullman, Alabama. He passed away November 6, 2023, in Garden City, Alabama. He was a dedicated church member for over 40 years at Garden City Church of God. He was a loving son, father, and grandfather. Mr. Cobb found joy in tinkering with lawn mowers. He also had a passion for older model trucks. With one truck, all it needed was a battery. His passion for western movies and his favorite recliner created a tapestry of cherished memories.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Cobb; and his daughters, Denise Ozier (John), and Vickie Szarmach (Matthew); grandchildren, Justin Ozier (Courtney), Brittany North (Chris), Debi Kiley (Wayne) and Sherry Little; and 5 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, L.T. and Pearl Cobb, Mr. Cobb was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Little; and 5 sisters, and 2 brothers.
