Mr. William "Donald" Bowman, 89 of Hillsville, VA passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Twelve Oaks Nursing Home in Mt. Airy, NC. He was born on July 23, 1934 in Carroll County, VA to the late Charlie Mayhew Bowman and Sara Emberzetta Weddle Bowman. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four brothers, Haywood Bowman, Carroll Bowman, Elmo Bowman and Gary Bowman; three sisters, Iris Gardner, Christine Webb and Anna Ruth Martin.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Gladesboro Evangelical Lutheran Church begininng at 2pm. Minister Bill Heim will officiatie. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1pm until 2pm.
