Margie Booth, 64, of West Manchester, formerly of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, April 19, at the Wright-Patterson AFB Medical Center following a battle with cancer. Born Oct. 25, 1938 in Mechanicsburg, she was the daughter of the late Rea Dow and Ruby Jewell (Crislip) Jones. She moved to Preble county in 1990 and had worked in the housekeeping department at Heartland of Eaton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on Jan. 23, 1998 by her husband, Clayton E. Booth, whom she married Sept. 25, 1988; son, Forrest M. "Monty" Mounts on March 1, 2003; brother, George W. Jones and sister, Joann Heinrich.

Survivors include one daughter, one son, two grandsons and three sisters.

Funeral services were Friday, May 2, at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center, West Alexandria, with burial in the Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
