Colorado City Cemetery. Rev. Travis Monday, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, officiated.
Services were under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Free died Sunday at his home.
Born November 7, 1914, he was a lifelong resident of Mitchell County, He was a retired employee of the Col-Tex and Cosden refinery.
He married the former Mildred Tickle on December 24, 1936 in Colorado City.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Freddie Bee Ogle of Odessa; a son, Don Free of Granbury; a sister, Zcna Gentry of Colorado City; a brother, Otis Free of Colorado City; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A son, Paul Free, preceded his father in death on February 11, 1987.
Honorary pallbearers were Archie Feaster, A.W. Phillips, Roosevelt Shaw, Rob Robertson, Henry Burton, Harry Jones, Bob Ramagc, R J . Hoback, Corky Houston and Emit Campos.
