Amanda was know by many names: Armanda, Arminda, Amanda, Minda, Mindy, and Arminda Lucinda. She was the daughter of Dr Tom Wilborn and Naomi Densmore. She married Jesse Almon Corbin in 1908. They had eight known, proven children. According to her death certificate she was dead on arrival at People's Hospital in Jasper.

On April 5, 1930 she was listed in the Winston County census with Jesse Corbin and three children. Then again on April 16, as a servant in the household of Monroe Edwards, with four additional Corbin children. Jesse died in 1933. By 1940 Amanda was listed as Amanda Edwards and was listed as wife of Monroe.

Multiple children's records verify the relationship of Jesse and Amanda/Minda.
