William Walker Davis, 78, died Saturday, February 19, 1994, at the Floy Dyer Manor in Houston. He was a native of Pontotoc County and had lived in Houlka most of his life. He was a World War II army veteran, a retired auto mechanic and a Baptist.

Services were held Sunday, February 20 at the Houston Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Brock officiating. Burial was
the Halsell Cemetery.

Survivors include four daughters, Janice Smith of Woodland, Diane Brown of Houlka, Regina Hicks of Houston and Melaine Hall of Belmont; two sons, Mike Davis of Houlka and Tony Davis of Little Rock Air Force Base; and eight grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Billy Brown, Tony Hall, Scott Smith, Bob Hicks, Terry Smith and Brian Hicks.
