Janet Pauline Stonecypher, age 90, of Limestone, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Franklin Woods Community Hospital.

She was born to the late Maynard and Gertrude Claunch Stonecypher in Somerset, Kentucky on August 26, 1933. Janet worked for the Limestone post office and was a member of Limestone United Methodist Church. She was famous for her sugar cookies around Christmas time. One of her favorite memories was going with Heather to see Tina Turner in Knoxville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers and sisters-in-law, Norman & Sylvia Stonecypher and Ben & Wylda Stonecypher.

Survivors include her son, Ricky A. Stonecypher of Limestone; nephew, Ben and Alice Stonecypher of Chuckey; niece, Helen and Eddie Martin; great niece and nephew; niece, Heather and Rick Hawkins; great niece and nephew, Kaitlyn and Brendan Hawkins; niece, Susan Nicholson; niece, Louise Snyder; nephew, Edward Snyder; niece, Annette and Eric Sexton; great niece, Kayle and Gavin Belcher; great-nephew, Tanner Sexton; aunt, Yvonne Jones of Indiana; uncle, Lynn Campbell; good friend and hairstylist, Debra Campbell; several cousins; special caregivers, Lisa Booher and Cheyenne Alexander.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside Services will follow at Urbana Cemetery with Pastor Donna Waddell officiating.

Family will serve as Pallbearers.
