Thomas Marlin Vance, 72, Granby, suffered a stroke while milking. He was taken to Sale Memorial Hospital by Culver-Shewmake ambulance and he died at 10:15 p.m. last night.
Surviving are his wife, Rose M. of the home, six daughters, Miss Jessie, of the home, Mrs. Judy Roberts, Hot Springs, Ark., Mrs. Emma Martin and Mrs. Colleen Fitzgerald of Joplin, Mrs. Marcene Sebo, Whittier, Calif., and Mrs. Dixie Wilson, Granby.
Mr. Vance leaves one brother, Jess, of Granby, two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Wells of Parsons, Kan., Mrs. Julie Jones of Commerce, Okla., and 15 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangement will be announced later by the Culver-Shewmake Funeral Home of Granby.

Thomas was a Mill Engineer at a Chemical Factory. He lived at Granby and died at Sale Memorial Hospital after a 2 1/2 hour stay. He died at 10 p.m. from a Cerebral Hemorrhage due to Hypertensive Cardio Vascular Renal Disease.
Informant was his wife, Rose, who gave his day of birth as the 3rd, different then what the stone shows.
