"ALDRICH -- Frank K. Aldrich, 46, of 4128 Genesee, died unexpectedly yesterday at the Veterans hospital in Excelsior Springs, where he was undergoing an examination. Mr. Aldrich was caretaker of Prairie Lee lake from 1949 until he became ill in 1950. Before that he was a motor car mechanic. He was born at Springfield, Mo., and had been a resident of Kansas City since 1923. He was a member of the Roanoke Methodist Church, the Kansas City Masonic lodge, the Hysperia chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Conboy-Nichols post of the American Legion. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Aldrich of the home; two brothers, E. H. Aldrich of Corpus Christi, Tex., and Harvey Aldrich of Springfield, Mo.; and two sisters, Mrs. Grace A. Smith of the home and Mrs. John McCune of San Antonio, Tex." The Kansas City Times, February 25, 1955
