Sarah Ermoian, 69, of Fresno, died June 11, 1996, in Fresno. She was the daughter of
- Zacaria Mekjian 1879–1956
- Guilkhatir (Rosemary) Kalayjian 1889–1960
and was born in Lindsay and had worked as a registered nurse at Fresno Community Hospital for 33 years. She was a proud and active member of the American Association of University Women (AAUW).
Survivors include two brothers, George Mekjian of Los Angeles, and Michael Mekjian of Woodland Hills.
