Charles Richard Zellers Sr. died Saturday, April 13, 1996 at 2:45 a.m. in his home. He was born November 11, 1921 in Winamac to the late Charles W. and Susan Trapp Zellers. He resided in Winamac most of his life. Mr. Zellers was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in WW II.
He is survived by two daughters; Carolyn Bondurant of Wyatt, Ind. and Janis Robaska of Berrian Springs, Mich, three sons; Chuck Jr., George M. "Lurch" and Thomas Zellers. Two sisters survive; Lucille Frain and Olive Smrt. He was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Bartlett and two grandsons.
