Marianne B. Weishuhn, 78, of Mount Pocono passed away peacefully on February 18, 2016 at the VNA Hospice House.

Born August 9, 1937 in Insterburg, East Prussia, She was the daughter of the late Paul and Helene J (Hein) Talaschus.

She worked for the Weiler Brush Co. for 22 years doing piecework both from home and in the factory. Marianne was a joy to be around, she loved music, and she would dance to just about anything. Her favorite past time was crocheting beautiful items for her friends, family, nurses, and even strangers. She loved making afghans, sweaters, and just about anything for those around her. Marianne loved to talk. She was indestructible, overcoming many illnesses and setbacks regarding her health that would never stop her. She was a strong woman and will be sincerely missed.

In addition to her late parents, Marianne had been preceded in death by her brother, Reinhold Talaschus and her granddaughter, Jessica Weishuhn.

Marianne is survived by her children: Volker Weishuhn and his wife Gabriela, of Cresco, PA; Raymond Weishuhn Jr., of Wilkes-Barre, PA; and Regina Weishuhn and her husband Daniel Flores of Dallas, TX; her grandchildren: Volker Weishuhn Jr., Randy Flores, Stephanie Flores; a niece and a nephew in Germany; and many close friends of the family.

Family and friends are welcome to the Celebration of Life on Wednesday February 24, 2016 from 1-3pm at The Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301. A prayer service will immediately follow the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Ave, New York, NY 10065, 212-639-2000.
