David M. Alexander, 78, of Muncy, died Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the Gatehouse, Williamsport.

Born October 10, 1945 in Muncy, he was a son of the late Frank and Agnes (Warren) Alexander. On June 4, 1970 he married the former Kay M. Mundrick, who predeceased him on May 29, 2023. Together they celebrated nearly 53 years of marriage.

Following his high school years, Dave served honorably in the United States Navy.

He later retired after many years working for the Muncy Borough on the Water and Sewer Authority.

Dave was a hard worker and enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether at work, a walk through Muncy, or attending his grandchildren's various events.

He is survived by two grandsons, Michael and Jonathan Fornwalt, both of Muncy; two brothers, Gary Alexander, of Muncy Valley, and Richard Alexander, of Hughesville; one sister, Sandy Falcon, of CA; one son-in-law, Scott Young, of Sunbury; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Eric Aloisio, of Sharon.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by one daughter, Tahnya Kay Young; and one sister-in-law, Sherry Alexander.

Friends will be received from 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 4 at Grenoble's, 121 S. Main St. Muncy, where a memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. with Rev. Dr. James Behrens, officiating.

Private burial will be held in the Muncy Cemetery.
