Reuben S. Whitehorn

Reuben S. Whitehorn, 78, died at 11 o'clock Friday morning in the Sale Memorial Hospital. He was a retired farmer, resided at Diamond, Route 1 and had lived in the Diamond area for the past 65 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Celia; one son, Samuel, Route 1, Diamond; one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Pollio, address unknown; four brothers, James of Nowata, Okla., Joe of Cherokee, Iowa, Elijah of Kansas City and Lee of Pismo Beach, Calif., and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30p.m. at the Diamond Christian Church with the Rev. John Lytle officiating. Burial will be in the Diamond church cemetery under the direction of the Clark Funeral Home.

He died at Sale Memorial Hospital at 11:10 a.m. from Uremia due to Generalized Arteriosclerosis.
