When Bob Adams and his brother, Jim, were coming from Brookfield, they met an automobile, a mile and a half south of New Boston, their team became frightened, turned around, ran a mile and three quarters before they could be stopped. Mr. Adams was thrown out of the carriage, his ankle was broken, and he was badly bruised up.

Two Sad Accidents
Robert Adams, who lived two miles north of New Boston, while driving last Friday, near his home, met an automobile. His horse scared and became unmanageable, ran away, throwing him out of the buggy, hurting him so seriously that he died Tuesday.
About three weeks ago his little child fell out of a high chair, breaking its neck.
Robert Adams married Diantha Head 21 Nov 1901 in Milan, Missouri. They were the parents of four children; Thomas B., Nola, Julia, and William.
