Mrs. Taylor grew up in Sf. Luke's Reformed Episcopal Church, and at an early age, accepted Christ as her Savior. She has remained a faithful member of Sf. Luke's since childhood, and has served loyally on several organizations, among which were: President, Pulpit Aide Board (position held at time of her passing); and Member, Charity Club.
She met the love of her life, Mr. Daniel C. Taylor, who has preceded her in death. They were joined in holy matrimony, and were blessed with a beautiful and loving life together.
Mrs. Taylor was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and friend to all who knew her. Her calming influence, gentle and loving ways will be sadly missed by family and friends. On November 9,2007, she was called to her eternal reward.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her devoted children: Monica (Clyde), Kara, LaRone, and Lauren; brothers: Edward Smalls, Leroy Smalls, and Sylvester "Ted" Smalls; her 5 devoted grandchildren: Brandon, Courtney, Sterling, Makalah, and Chelsi; devoted friends: Carol Seabrook, Ernestine Grant, and Elizabeth Mikell; and hosts of loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
