Thomas Joseph Edwards, 70, of Festus, Missouri, died October 28, 2023 at Mercy Hospital St. Louis.
Tom worked as a crane operator for 26 years. Before retiring, he also worked for Disability Resource Association. He was a past member of Festus/Crystal City Elks #1721 and volunteered with Twin City Little League Baseball and Softball. He enjoyed camping, mowing grass, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and everything football. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and attended many, many events with his grandchildren.
Born on April 11, 1953, he was the son of the late Thomas and Allene (Hood) Edwards.
Tom is survived by his wife of 51 years, Debbie (Wagner); three children: Angie Valleck of Festus, Tara (Christian) Dinolfo of Festus, Matt (Angie) Edwards of Crystal City; siblings: Judi (Joe) Swafford of Hillsboro, Steve (Tina) Edwards of Festus, Greg (Tammy) Edwards of Alabama; seven grandchildren: Luke Valleck, Ryan Valleck, Jacob (Sami Bradshaw) Dinolfo, Nate Dinolfo, Mattie Edwards, Abbie Edwards, Sophie Edwards and in addition by many other family members and friends.
A celebration life will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Crystal City. Visitation will be from 9am - 11am with a service directly following.
