Kyle Adams, 103, of Findlay, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2023 at Sunrise of Findlay. He was born December 15, 1919 in Independence, Virginia to the late Thomas B. and Mary Bertie (Joines) Adams.

Kyle proudly served in the United States Navy from 1946 to 1951, just shy of six years. He served on the U.S.S. Nicholson. After his service, he married Esther M. Shelley, and then shared the next 73 years together. Esther passed away on February 8, 2019. He was a member of College First United Church of God for over 75 years, where he faithfully served in his strong Christian faith.

Kyle is survived by his children: Barry (Emily) W. Adams, Brad (Kay) W. Adams, Sondra (Jackson) Risner and Sharon Ann (Bill Pupo) Hanlon; 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and beloved wife, Kyle was preceded in death by his siblings: Vilas, Bain, Walter Adams, Irene Marshall and Ruth Edwards; and a son-in-law, Dave Hanlon.

Visitation for Kyle will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 11:00AM-1:00PM at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 205 W. Sandusky St., Findlay, OH. His funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Knollcrest Gardens, Arcadia, where full military honors will be celebrated by the Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad. Memorial contributions may be to Hancock County Veterans Association, 1100 E Main Cross St Ste. 123, Findlay, OH 45840.
