Edward David Wentz, 79, of Duncansville, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Hollidaysburg Veteran Home.
was born on October 1, 1944 in Alum Bank; son of the late Sewell and Goldie (Mock) Wentz.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Diane; sister, Shirley; brothers, Gerald, Homer, Kirby, Victor, Stanford; and companion, Lois Holleran.
Edward is survived by his children, Edward J. Wentz and companion, Paula Green of Altoona; Tonya Wilson of Everett; Goldie and husband Robb Smith of Manns Choice; Tina and husband James Black of Bedford; Michele of Hilltop; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Rosie Drenning of Alum Bank.
Edward attended the Church of God in Manns Choice. He was a Life Member of the VFW in Schellsburg, Post 4440. He enjoyed fishing and motorcycle riding. He will be missed by all who knew him.
At the request of Edward, all funeral services will be private.
