Terry died at the Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. He was born in Wabash to Walter D. and Bertha B. (Pattee) Middleton.
Terry was married to Ellen Paschall Middleton 30 years; she survives. He was a 1958 graduate of Wabash High School. He worked 34 1/2 years for General Tire in Wabash and 5 years for Trelleborg in Peru, retiring in 2000. He was a member of the American Legion Post 15, the Eagles Lodge, and Moose Lodge, all of Wabash. Terry coached the Blackhawks in the Wabash Little League program several years. He enjoyed watching Wabash High School and Wabash Little League ball games, and especially loved going to games involving his grandkids. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, Indiana University Basketball, and NASCAR.
He is survived by his son, Timothy W. (Caryn) Middleton of Wabash; his daughter, Theresa L. (John) Moser of Yanceyville, North Carolina; two grandsons, Brandon Moser of Yanceyville and Justin Middleton of Wabash; two granddaughters, Amanda Moser of Yanceyville and Taylor Middleton of Wabash; brother, Kenneth (Patty) Middleton of Wabash; two sisters, Elizabeth (Charles) Mettler of Wabash and Martha (Claude) Shepherd of Warsaw. He was preceded in death by one brother, Walter "Hub" Middleton Jr.
