WARD-TATTERSHALL Mr Charles Ward was married to Miss Mabel Tattershall, youngest daughter of Mr D. B. Tattershall of Kumeroa. The ceremony was performed by the Rev Canon Eccles at the residence of the bride's parents, where a lovely wedding breakfast was served. Mr Ward was attended by Mr Reay, his cousin. The honeymoon is being spent in Wellington. Amongst the many handsome present was a lovely silver jam dish from the teachers and scholars of the Sunday school,
Several more weddings are on the taps, so evidently a wave of prosperity has come our way.
* She next married James William Watkins (1880-1963) in Waipawa 1918
* She next married Robert Alexander Gordon Hood (1876-1945) in 1937. Robert was a painter from Christchurch
