SALISBURY - W. Louise Aderholdt, 95, died at the Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks on March 28, 2008.
Miss Aderholdt was born Aug. 2, 1912 in Henry River, Burke County. She was the daughter of the late William David Aderholdt and Vivian Mauney Aderholdt.
Louise was a graduate of Hildebran High School and Lenoir-Rhyne College, Hickory. Having received a degree in primary education, she taught school in Oakboro, Rowan County, Cherryville, and Asheboro. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Salisbury.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Hal M. Aderholdt, Hildebran, NC; Miles Aderholdt, Henry River; and John Wrey Aderholdt, Charlotte,; three sisters: Irene A. Rhyne, Cherryville, NC; Margaret A. Walker, Concord; and Evelyn A. Bradley, Arlington, Va; two nephews: Wert B . Rhyne, Jr., and Norman Aderholdt; two nieces: Frances Rhyne Barger and Kay Bradley. She is survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Cherryville, NC with Rev. Tim Smith and Rev. Ron Fink officiating.
