Richard Lee Adair, of Elgin, was born on February 12, 1956 in Texas. Richard was raised in Midwest City, Oklahoma, then moved to Chickasha where he graduated from Chickasha High School. He worked at Wonderbread for 27 years, at Lawson AutoPlex, and was currently employed at Home Depot as a Sales Consultant. Richard married Montie Dowdell on
December 22, 1995 in Chickasha. He loved to play golf and was a gourmet cook.
He is preceded in death by both parents, and his father-in-law, Keith Dowdell.
He is survived by his wife, of the home; a daughter, Amy Adair of Verden, OK; one brother, Gary L. Adair and wife Karen Steele of Oklahoma City, OK; two sisters, Pamela in Chickasha, Oklahoma and Lisa in California; one step-daughter, Tobi Neidy of Chickasha, Oklahoma; one sister-in-law, Debbie Fenity and husband, Larry of Edmond, Oklahoma; and his mother-in-law, Pat Dowdell of Clinton, Oklahoma.
