Dale was also a small business owner, including Dale Cole's Gun and Pawn in Muskogee, and lastly, The Cole Pit in Porter. He enjoyed working on the farm and raising cattle, as well as being an avid outdoorsman. His hobbies included hunting and fishing, often going on trips with his brother Donald Wesley and other friends. He was a passionate gun collector and also enjoyed watching old Western movies on TV. Dale was a quiet and reserved man who loved his family above all, being the most loving son, father, and grandfather a family could ask for.
