Joseph E. Brandmeier, 73, former credit manager for the Washington Farmers' Association, died yesterday at his home, 7757 Jones Av. N.W.
Mr. Brandmeier retired eight years ago after 23 years with the association. He was born in Chilton, Wis. He was manager of a lumber company in Floodwood, Minn., for 22 years, then managed a wholesale-grocery firm in Superior, Wis. Mr. Brandmeier was a member for many years of the board of directors of the Seattle Credit Men's Association. He also was a member of the Holy Name Society.
Mr. Brandmeier and his wife, Blanche E., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last June 6.
Surviving also are three daughters, Mrs. Craig Turner and Mrs. Jerome Altpeter, both of Seattle, and Mrs. James H. Fletcher, Jr., Port Angeles; a son, Edward J. Brandmeier, Seattle; two brothers and three sisters, including Mrs. L.A. Belanger, Seattle, and ten grandchildren.
Rosary will be said at 7:30 o'clock Thursday night in Manning & Sons' chapel.
Requiem Mass will be said at 9:30 o'clock Friday in St. Alphonsus' chapel. Entombment will be in Holyrood mausoleum.
