Mrs. Chester O. Grona nee Cora Mathilda Peese of Fredericksburg passed away on Tuesday October 24th at the age of 87 years.
Cora was born January 31, 1936 in Gillespie County to August and Parralee Chesser Peese.
Cora married Chester Grona June 5, 1954 in Fredericksburg.
Cora is survived by three children and their spouses: Douglas and Linda Grona , Donna and Wendell Lengefeld , Gordon and Karen Grona
Nine Grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Brother and spouse: Levi and Peggy Peese
Along with her husband and parents, Cora was preceded in death by brothers and sister-in-law's: Max and Ruby Peese, Julia Peese, Marvin and Ruby Grona, Elgin and Mildred Grona, and Lillian and Reuben Moellering.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday October 27th at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home with Rev. David Priem officiating.
Graveside Services and Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday October 27th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, The Golden Hub, or to the charity of your choice.
