Helen Hagan Bartley,96,died at the Monroe Health and Rehab Center in Tompkinsville.

Born May 10,1911 in Monroe County, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Norma(Jones)Hagan and the wife of the late Willie Bill"Carl Bartley,who died Dec. 13, 1955.

She was a member of the Mount Gilead Church of Christ and was the former owner of a laundry service.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law,Lloyd and Louise Bartley,Tompkinsville. 11 grandchildren,several ggrandchildren,and g-g-grandchildren.

Two sons,Charles Fred and Harold Bartley;a daughter,Betty Grisham;and three brothers,Caleb,James Ralph, and Rex Hagan,all preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on April 15th at the Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville,with Bro. Tim McHenry and Bro Wendell Froedge officiating. Burial wss at Mt. Gilead Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Michael, McShane,and Dillon Bartley;David, Kenneth and Larry Hagan,and Dr. Tony Carter.

Honorary pallbearers were Gene Austin and Jenette Poland.

The family suggest that memorials take the form of donations to the Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
