Sidney M. Cauthen, 82, of Summerville, husband of BeBe McJunkin Cauthen, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 21, 2023.
Graveside Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, October 23, 2023, at the Dorchester Cemetery with Rev. Kathy Hudson officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before the service in the cemetery.
Sidney was born on January 19, 1941, in Dorchester, a son of the late Hess Alexander and Mary Brown Cauthen.
He attended Summerville High School and was a retired route sales driver with Coca-Cola in Charleston. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was predeceased by a nephew, Wendell Lee Weaver, III.
Surviving is his wife, BeBe M. Cauthen of Summerville; sisters, Lucy W. Turner, St. George and Bertha C. Weaver, Cayce; two nephews, Roy B. Turner, Jr. and A. Alexander Weaver; nieces, Deborah T. (Billy) Whetsell, M. Annette Turner, Tresha T. (Mike) McKoy and Lisa T. (Kent) Reeves; several great-nieces and nephews and great-great- nieces and nephews.
