Nonia E Burris, 93, of Springfield died Tuesday at Walnut Ridge Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Oct 28, 1902, in Green Co, Ky, the daughter of Edward and Mary Alice Squires. She married James R Burris in 1926, he died in 1981.
Surviving: three sons, James A, Jack L and William Ray Burris, all of Springfield; three daughters, Mrs William (Mary) Fulton and Mrs Gordon (Flora) Piper, both of Springfield, and Mrs Thomas (Geneva) Prehoda of Phoenix; 14 grandchildren; 24 grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private family services will be held at Vancil Memorial Funeral Chapel, the Rev H Warren Wilkewitz officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
