Claude E. Young, of Taylorsville, Calif., died in a local hospital Saturday. Born in Taylorsville Dec. 1, 1883, he had been a lifelong resident of the town. He engaged in general merchandising for more than 50 years. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ivy M. Young of Taylorsville, and three sons, Melvin B. Young of Manhattan Beach, Calif and; William S. Young and John C. Young of Taylorsville. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Walton Funeral Home.
