Herbert Ralph Ashmore, 87, passed awaybSaturday, October 14, 2023, at his home in Booneville, MS. He wasnborn Feb1, 1936, to Claude Eslie Ashmore and Ethel Corine (Hughes) Ashmore. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and woodworking. Mr. Herbert loved his family and being able to spoil his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a Deacon at Little BrownbFreewelk BaptistnChurch. Herbert married the live of his life, JoRene (Shackelfor);Ashmore, 67 years ago.
A celebration of Life will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Little Briwn Freewill Baptist Church with Brother Leonard Ball and Brother BrentbCrow officiating. Burial will follow at New HopenPrimitive Baptist Church Cemetery. VFunerak arrangements are under the direction of McMillan Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers. Hubert Ashmore, Wade Ashmore, and Kenneth Ashmore;and one grandson, Devin Newell.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Little Brown Freewill Baptist Church.
