Entertainer. He was a Swedish singer, songwriter, author, television presenter, actor, and record producer. He is best remembered for the songs "Jennie, Jennie," "Gunga Gunga," and "Teddybjörnen Fredriksson." After performing at an NTO party in Enköping, he was noticed by Curt Pettersson, a record producer at the label Karusell. In 1969, Berghagen released the hits "Teddybjörnen Fredriksson" and Gunga Gunga," both of which charted on Svensktoppen. His other hits include, "Du som vandrar genom livet," "En enkel sång om frihet," and "Hålligång i skogen." He also with Benny Andersson on the songs "Sagan om lilla Sofie" and "Hej clown." Aside from singing and songwriting, he acted in the comedy shows "Sängkammarfars" in 1979 and "Spanska flugan" in 1981. He also made records and television appearances in Germany. He published a book of poetry "I mina blommiga sandaler," in 1993. From 1994 to 2003, he presented the STV series "Allsång på Skansen." He died from heart surgery complications.
